The bordering streets for Bloor West Village are Jane Street to the west, running North south. Runnymede Rd to the west, Annette St. to the north and Bloor St. W. to the south. A well established neighbourhood with larger Victorian homes on smaller lots built mostly in the 1880's and 1920's.

According to Toronto.com in this article, one of the main reasons this neighbourhood has such a great business and village feel is due to the first settlers in this area, the majority being from Eastern Europe. Hence the great variety and multitude of independent small businesses along Bloor. Also annually there is a Ukrainian Festival to commemorate this heritage as well. This festival and more are hosted by the Business Improvement Association, (BIA), such as the July Festival and the Pumpkin Festival at Halloween. So whether you are looking for residential or commercial real estate in this neighbourhood, you've definitely got strong reasons to consider Bloor West Village as your home.
